The other week 30 plus preschool children from Namadgi School Boddington Cres Preschool Unit visited Wombat Wardrobe to drop off the donations they have been collecting as part of Children Caring Week.
They enjoyed walking under the underpass, and meeting some of our team.
Gillian Uhle, one of our Assistant Managers, shared with them a bit about Wombat Wardrobe and what we do. She was impressed with the great questions they were asking along the way!
It was lovely to see that at the same time these 4 and 5 year olds were donating their items, we had some 14 and 15 year olds from local schools in the shop learning valuable work retail skills as part of our pilot Community Education Program.
