Last week, from Monday 30th September to Saturday 5th October, Fusion Riverina hosted the 3rd Fusion Foundations Short Course in Coleambally, NSW.
The course had 30 participants from across NSW, ACT, and from many other states.
The majority of participants were young people wanting to learn more skills and be equipped to make a difference in their communities and support their peers.
The week culminated on Saturday morning with a 3 hour free community “open crowd” festival in the main street of the town.
There were great connections with storeholders and locals alike.
Two store holders said they love to see the community and kids having fun together and not on their computer games.
They both said they would come again even without their stalls!
One person running the craft stall was so inspired by the Fusion led group games that she made her own large parachute and played games in her backyard with her grandkids after last years festival!
The local menshed built a billycart for the kids to enjoy.
