This update came from Mark Holberton today, 2 April, around 5pm:
“Today we travelled from Broken Hill to Port Augusta. We travelled all through the night on sunday night. From gilgandra to broken hill. The team did really well on Monday in Broken Hill, considering we all had a pretty rough nights sleep on the bus.
It was a slow night after the bus was damaged from hitting several kangaroos. The bus is fixed now and has been the place where most of our team building has taken place so far whilst travelling.
Its good to see friendships forming and the team slowly building.
In Broken Hill we visited a mining mueseum and the Day Dream mines. We were taken on tours and learned heaps about how mining was done before modern machines. We have just arrived at Port Augusta and about to go for a swim. Heading to Coober Pedy tommorow.”
Until the next Pilgrims Progress.
