Good Friday is fast approaching again this year (29th March) and for 22 years in a row, Fusion has served the Canberra community by organising an all night Prayer Vigil from 6pm to 6am at Mt Ainslie Lookout.
At this stage we won’t be running one this year as we just don’t have someone to organise it. We are very light on with staff and team at our administration base in Kambah at our youth and community hub.
The job of coordination isn’t a big one, it’s just about contacting those who were involved in previous years, slotting them into the 2 hour slots throughout the night, gathering the equipment, and seeking permission from Parks and Wildlife.
It would be 4-6 hours a week job.
