On a lovely warm October evening, around 200 people will arrive at the Southern Cross Club, Woden for a memorable event.
They will enjoy an evening of delicious food, great company, inspiring speakers and much more.
Although this is a fundraising event, this delectable dinner is free thanks to our very generous sponsors.
One of the highlights of the evening will be our Silent Auction where items of all shapes and sizes ranging from floral bouquets and light fittings to bigger items will be auctioned.
These bigger items include a Balloon Aloft Flight, a State of Origin Jersey, a Private Chef Dinner (at your home), a holiday in Port Douglas, a Zooventure Tour and much more.
So as you can see, there will be lots to interest everyone.
This year, we will especially focus on raising funds for a full time
Schools Worker for 2015, since at the time of writing this article the Federal government is no longer funding the National School Chaplaincy Program and the ACT government has not accepted the Federal government’s offer like most of the other states.
Our target this year is $30,000 so every bit helps. EFTPOS, Cash, Cheque and Direct Deposit can all be used.
So come along and support our youth and community work. This year’s Fundraising Dinner is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever !
For those who have supported us before, it is a chance to catch up with old friends and for those who are supporting us for the first time, it is an opportunity to make new friends and find out more about Fusion’s work.
Our speakers will be Mr Wyatt Roy MP, Member for Longman and the youngest ever member of parliament along with the CEO of Fusion Australia, Mr John Latten.
Come and be wined, dined, entertained and inspired. All for a fantastic cause, helping us give the next generation the support they need in life.
