Fusion Op Shop at Kambah Village will have its Official Opening Ceremony on the 3rd December at 9.30 am.

Come and join in the festivities.  There will light refreshments and light finger food prepared by the Op Shop team.

You may say “Hang on, but it has been opened for more than 3 months !”.  Yes, we have been so busy with our youth work, organising our fundraising dinner and our Sleep In Your Car event that we have only just had time to organise our Official Opening Ceremony now. It is better late than never. Agreed ?

Our speakers will be Brenton Reimann, CEO of Fusion Canberra and Gary Humphries who opened Wombat Wardrobe in 2010.

Students from our Community Education Program for high school aged youth which is currently running at St Georges in Pearce have worked really hard to plan for this event. Students doing the Basic Sound Engineering stream will be operating the sound equipment.

If you have a few hours a week, why not volunteer in our Op shop or if you are clearing out your house then why not bring your things down to Fusion Op Shop.  We always appreciate good quality clothing, bric-a-brac etc.

It took a lot to pack up and move the old Wombat Wardrobe but a number of really awesome people helped and thanks to them our new Op Shop is a busy social hub that blesses the local community.

We have had lots of positive feedback from our team of volunteers and customers as well as employees from other businesses at the village.
