This evening 15 people gathered at a bonython home to share a meal and enjoy each other’s company.
Ranging in age from 1 years old to 85, the mix of people was great & resulted in a whole range of discussions.
It was interesting to see how many common connections existed between those present as dinner progressed.
We all got an opportunity to share what our favourite home grown food or produce was and some answers included oven cooked corn still in the cob as well as fresh tomatoes.
A great time of community building, of which a good indicator was that no one wanted to go home!
Fusion holds community teas in various homes around Canberra every fortnight. Call our youth & community hub for the location & date of the next one.
