2012 has been a big year for Fusion Canberra.
Thanks to the thousands of dedicated volunteer hours we have continued to make a difference.
This year we have been able to reach out to the Belconnen community in a way we haven’t been able to before through the generous team at our Hand to Hand social enterprise.
And our Wombat Wardrobe team has continued to grow and reach out and connect with the Kambah and Tuggeranong (and further afield) communities.
We have setup 3 aquaponics systems at our Kambah youth and community hub and started a Mentoring program called the Community Education Program training 7 high school aged young people in valuable work readiness skills in retail, bike repair and horticulture and aquaponics.
In fact, this Wednesday night (5th December) we will be celebrating the year and what God has done through our inspiring Fusion Canberra team members, at our annual Friends of Fusion End of Year Celebration Dinner. Starting at 6pm for a 6.30pm start, and going till 8.30pm, it’s a chance to celebrate all that has happened this year and look to 2013.
You can still come and join us – it’s free, dinner is provided as a way of thanking those involved, and it’s at Eternity Church on the corner of the Parkway and Sulwood Drive, Kambah. Give Archana a call at our office 6162 3700 or email canberra@fusion.org.au to book your seat. By tomorrow (Tuesday 4th) would be great!
Love to see you there!
