Our second school joined our Community Education Program pilot today.
Pam Rosser, co-principal of Namadgi School, said they would love some of their students to take part.
This means we now have two schools – Melrose High School and Namadgi School – involved in our pilot program next Term.
Starting in Week 3, we are now focused on training and orientating the volunteer Mentors who will provide support and mentoring alongside the participating students, as well as final preparations with facilities, materials and equipment.
We are looking at having a maximum of 6 students taking part – half from each school – from years 8 and 9.
Keep in touch to hear how the pilot program takes off in one month.
This comes out of Fusion Canberra’s mission to create a Canberra, and world, where no-one gets left behind.
