Today the week long annual conference of Fusion Australia came to a close.
The week has been a full one – but not overtly busy and stressful as has sometimes been in the past – all themed around HOPE.
A smaller conference, there were around 140 delegates this year.
The Kids child care program was a big hit, and last night all the delegates enjoyed cheering the kids on as they put on a concert for us all. This has become a tradition every year and in some ways is the real reason why people come!!
A great time and now we head off into the coming 12 months with more hope in our hearts and mates who share the same hope and same dream to see others connect with hope too.
This quote about hope was one that was given out by a delegate by way of encouragement:
“Hope is what sits by a window and waits for one more dawn, despite the fact that there isn’t an ounce of proof in tonight’s black, black sky that it can possibly come” – by Joan Chittister.
